What can an art student learn from this blog?

Book smart - I have a quite a few books, and I have actually read most of them! But there is the question of what to do with them afterwards? A lot of my books are kids lit or comics so I utilize them in teaching visual narrative at art school. Traditionally I try to bring a different mix of books each week to reference and talk about. It is usually off the cuff but I’ve been wanting to be more organized about it for a while.

Old school - I have also wanted to get back into blogging. To kill two birds with one stone I am going to blog about illustrated books from an art student perspective so I can use them as a foundation to fortify the in person education experiences that I have been building over my 25+ years as an educator.
